Mary R. Dymsza

Mary Rose Dymsza, 88, of Acton, Maine and formerly of Revere,MA, passed away on Monday April 23, 2007 at the Pavillion in Sanford, Maine, after a long battle with Alzheimers. She was born in Chelsea, MA to James and Angelina Breda, and step daughter of John Lanciani on October 24, 1918.She attended and graduated from Our Lady of Assumption in Chelsea, MA in 1932 and graduated from Chelsea High School in 1936. She lived and worked most of her life in Chelsea having worked for the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce and the Chelsea Record. In later years she worked as a bookkeeper and caterer. She and her husband, Robert T. Dymsza spent 39 years in Acton, Maine during the summer months before finally moving there full time several years ago.Mrs. Dymsza is predeceased by her husband, Robert T. Dymsza who passed away in 2006. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Leo and Arnold Breda, one sister, Inez Trovesi. She is survived by three daughters, Roberta M. Clarke of Acton, Maine, and formerly of Saugus, MA, Carol A. DePietro of Chelsea, MA and Gail A. Lee of Sandown, NH; seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.A period of visitation will take place from 9:30am to 12:45pm on Friday April 27 at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the visitation at 1:00pm at St. Therse of Lisieux- Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford, Maine.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the Pavillion 35 July Street, Sanford, Maine 04073.To leave the family a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
