  6. Our Friendship started over 30 years ago with just a friendly hello and talk at the pool hall. Then when the cars came out we were always talking and seeing each other.

  7. I have known Mark for quite a few years now, but we got a lot closer when he had gotten his Impala SS as I have one myself and we would talk hours on end about our cars and what we would do with them. He was also good friends with my Dad Larry Cote Sr too, we would create a long lasting Friendship with all of the same interests in fast cars !!

  8. I’m going to miss Mark! A real gentleman and a great friend! Pool life will be forever changed by his absence. RIP, Mark! We will meet again! 🙏🏼

  9. Maybe not funny so much, but “fun”. Back in 1974-75, I asked Mark to join my family on a weekend trip up to my grandparents camp at Collins Pond in Windham. There was just my immediate family. Anyway, Mark and I waited for everyone to get to sleep and in the middle of the night, at 14-15 years old, him and I took the row boat that had a gas outboard motor on it, out for a trip or 2 around the pond. Pitch dark, couldn’t see your hand in front of your face….. and we’re out cruisin the pond in a boat. Life was so much simpler then.

  10. I’ve known Mark since 1973. We were best friends. Went through a lot together. Went to school together. We lost touch about when High school was over. Hadn’t heard anything about him until I found him on FB a few years ago. I know he was going through a tough time lately but I always thought he’s tough and he’ll make it. This is a shock, upsetting, and I’m in total disbelief. Mark, I’m sorry we lost touch. I’m sorry we weren’t closer for the past couple of decades. I’m sorry. Thank you for being one of my life’s best friends. RIP bud. Mark G.

  11. Sorry for your loss to Mark’s family & friends. I worked with Mark at UNUM and we did a lot of things together, like going up to Saddleback & Sugarloaf skiing, Joey Gamache fights, USA vs. USSR mens Olimpic volleyball. I remember turning 30 before Mark & he would bust my chops about that…until HE turned 30! Lotta Laughs we had back in the day. Sleep well my Friend.

  12. Mark Ross
You have seen my ups and down
You have cheered with me in my ups and comforted me in my downs.
You were never a man a many words but said the right words at the right time. The words may have come out sounding grumpy but we all knew it was coming from the best of place, a place of truth and love.
You kept me safe and understood my crazies
Reminded me when I was acting reckless
You never judge me when I was being a little “dramatic” and gave me that look that sais, I get it but get your S%it together lady.
When I lost my mom and came back to play pool after a while, you just came and gave me a big hug and said “you will be alright”.
Thank you for everything, i am going to miss you but i know i will see you on the other side brother.
