Mark P. DesrochesN. Lebanon, MEMark P. Desroches, 40 years old of N. Lebanon, ME died Friday August 3, 2001 at Wentworth Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH following a brave battle with cancer.Mr. Desroches was born on February 4, 1961 in Rochester, NH. He was the son of Donald P. and Rita M. Provencher Desroches. He grew up in the Lebanon area and was a graduate of the Noble High School class of 1980. Mr. Desroches was employed by Textron Industries of Farmington, NH where he worked in the warehouse. One of Mr. Desroches favorite pastimes was mudding in his Jeep. He loved his trucks and four wheel drive vehicles. He also enjoyed woodworking, and was said to be a very talented drawer. However, above all other things he enjoyed spending every possible moment he had with his family, especially his two children. Together they woud go camping in Sebago, ME, or build large campfires together.When Mr. Desroches was younger he and his wife Sharon traveled out west and took in the sights of Texas, Colorado and many other States.Mr. Desroches is predeceased by a son Joshua P. in 1984.Surviving is his wife Sharon, their two children Benjamin Mark, and Brandie May Desroches all of N. Lebanon; his mother, Rita Desroches of Berwick, ME; his grandmother, Barbara Desroches of Epping, NH; a brother Mike of Berwick ME; three sisters Debbie Kezar, and Diane Guptil both of N. Berwick, ME, and Denise Woodman of Berwick, ME. Also surviving is his mother-in-law Donna Griffin of N. Lebanon and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.A period of visitation will be held Sunday August 5, 2001 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale; where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday with Father Timothy Nadeau officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Lebanon.For those that desire memorials may be made in Mr. Desroches memory to the American Cancer Society, 52 Federal St., Brunswick, ME 04011.
