Marjorie Boutot

Marjorie L. Boutot, 78, of Sanford, passed away on Monday March 8, 2010, at the Greenwood Center in Sanford. Born in Springvale on October 30, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Helen Soule.A communicant of St. Ignatius Parish, she taught C.C.D for many years, preparing young children for their confirmation. She was greatly devoted to the care of her youngest daughter, Janet, who was disabled and passed away in 1985. She received her GED in 1995 when she was well into her 60's. She also worked for 10 years in the housekeeping department at Goodall Hospital. A New England sports fan, she enjoyed watching the Red Sox, Patriots and the Bruins.She is predeceased by her husband, Albert Boutot who passed away in 1984.She is survived by her children, Elaine Beattie of North Waterboro, Gloria Fluet and her husband, Ron of Sanford, Peter Boutot and his wife, Cathy of Sanford, Thomas Boutot and his wife, Loretta of Pompano Beach, FL, John Boutot of Arundel and Celeste Belanger and her husband, Peter of Acton, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers, Howard Soule of Sanford and Herbert Soule of Virginia, many nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Mrs. Boutot will be on Friday, March 12 from 4 to 7PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11AM at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford.
