Marion A. Paquin

Marion A. Paquin,70, of Springvale died on July 30 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Mazie, as she was affectionately known, passed away serenely at home surrounded by her loving family. She was an extraordinary lady who will be deeply missed.She was born on January 27, 1936 in Wells the youngest of six children of Oscar F. and Grace A. (Finson) Gray. She grew up in Wells and attended Wells schools.She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and simply enjoying her 7 children, 13 grandchildren and 3 cats. She was extremely kind and compassionate as evidenced by her many years as a private duty health care aide and more recently as a CRMA for Waban Projects in Sanford.She is survived by a brother, Russell Gray, her children Michael Paquin and his wife Patricia, Linda Vachon and her husband John, Paula Paquin and Joe Violette, Sandra Martin and her husband Owen, Lisa Paquin, Timothy Paquin, Thomas Paquin and his wife Jennifer. She loved her grandchildren Jason, Allison, Wendy, Sabrina, Erika, Russell, Kassandra, Owen, Jenni, Jessie, Joshua, Alyssa and Ethan and her cats Mandie, Alex and Elizabeth.Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Notre Dame Church.
