Marguerite E. King, known as Pan, of Portland died July 10, 2003 at 89 years of age.Mrs. King was born on January 8, 1914 in New York City. She was the daughter of Eugen and Madeline Koelle Masherrek. Mrs. King was born on January 8, 1914 in New York City. She was the daughter of Eugen and Madeline Koelle Masherrek. It was in New York that she attended schools and grew up. On August 14, 1937 she was marries to her true love, Donald F. King. Together they began a family and raised three children.Mrs. King had a true zest for life. She lived her life to the fullest with a kind and generous heart. Together with her husband she founded and actively ran the Willowbrook Museum at Newfield, a museum of rural life in the 19th century.Predeceasing Marguerite is her husband Donald and their daughter Deanna King.Surviving are two sons and their wives: Donald and Barbara King of Virginia, Douglas and Dorthee King of New York City; four grandchildren, Christina and Ralf Hundertmark of Germany, Alexander and Jennylynn King of California, Lui and Natalia King of Germany and Benjamin King of Virginia; two great-grandchildren, Patrick and Connor Hundertmark.A 1:30 PM Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 19th at the St. Mathew Catholic Church of Limerick, Maine.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Willowbrook Museum at Newfield, P.O.
