Lucxaine C. Ledin

Lucy C. Ledin, 83 years old, a former 55-year resident of Stoughton, MA, and most currently of Sanford, ME died Wednesday July 20, 2005 in Portland, ME.Mrs. Ledin was born in Weedon, PQ Canada. She was the daughter of Eugene and Graziella Gagnon Bernier. For many years Lucy worked as a hairdresser in the Sanford area. She was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church in Sanford, where she would decorate the church for the Christmas season for many years.Lucy loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed trips to the family camp on Mousam Lake, and loved the company of her grandchildren.Predeceasing Lucy was her husband Ralph in 1999.Surviving is a daughter Linda Lee Webber of Kittery, ME; three sons, Gerald R. Ledin of E. Bridgewater, MA, Robert E. Ledin of tamarack, FL, and Richard J. Ledin of Sanford, ME. Also surviving is a brother Gerard Bernier of Sanford, ME; five sisters, Rita B. Bernier, Theresa Gagnon, Priscilla Williams and Leona Merrow all of Sanford, Yvonne Batakis of Brocton, MA, and two grandchildren, Stephanie and Stephen Webber.A 9:00 AM graveside service will be held on Saturday July 23, 2005 at the St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
