Lucille M. Sevigny

Lucille Margaret Richard Sevigny, 91, of Sanford, passed away comfortably at home surrounded by her family on November 18th, 2012. She was born one of nine children on June 4th, 1921 in Michigan, a daughter of the late George and Josephine Richard.She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Albert R. Sevigny. Siblings Daniel Richard, Br. Lionel Richard, Rolande Richard Page, and Connie Richard Theriault. She spent her life helping her father to raise her brothers and sisters after her mother passed at an early age. She also raised nine children of her own with her husband. She was a devout Catholic who faithfully prayed her rosary daily. In her healthier days, she enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable gardens. She absolutely loved when her family came to visit. She is survived by her children, Dolores Sevigny Maynard and her husband, William of Sanford, Rudolph Sevigny of Shapleigh, Fr. Michael Sevigny O.F.M. Cap., of Weymouth, MA, Edgar Sevigny and his wife, Rita of Sanford, George Sevigny and his wife, Susan of North Berwick, Ann Marie Sevigny Dubois and her husband, Michael of Sanford, Diana Sevigny Charrette and her husband Ronald of Litchfield, Muriel Sevigny Riel and her husband, Brian of Pembroke, NH, Anita Sevigny Caron and her husband, Ricky of Newfield, 24 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, siblings, Gerard Richard, Theodore Richard, Evelyn Richard Nadeau and Leonard Richard.Visiting hours for Mrs. Sevigny will be on Tuesday, November 20th from 6 to 8PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish at Notre Dame Church, Payne Street in Springvale with her son, Fr.
