Lorraine C. Neuts

YARMOUTH - Lorraine C. Neuts, 86, passed away peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on December 6, 2013, with her children by her side. She was born in South Portland on December 13, 1926, a daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Casey) Brewster. She was a homemaker and raised seven children. She then worked at Coastal Manor in Yarmouth for several years. She is predeceased by a son, Daniel F. Lawrence; a sister, Marian Edwards; and four brothers, Lawrence, Ralph, Thomas, and Neil Brewster. She is survived by three sons, David Neuts and his wife Brenda of Yarmouth, Richard Neuts Jr. and his wife Louise of Freeport, and Lawrence Neuts and his wife Lisa of Otisfield; three daughters, Leslie Libby of Gorham, Mary Richards and her husband Jay of South Portland, and Barbara Morton and her husband Roderick of New Gloucester; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staffs at Coastal Manor, Maine Medical Center, and Gosnell Memorial Hospice for their compassionate and excellent care. A graveside service will be held at noon, Tuesday, at Forest City Cemetery, Lincoln Street, South Portland. Arrangements are by Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
