Lorraine Morais

Lorraine S. Morais, 56 years old of Sanford, ME died Sunday April 13, 2003 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland.Ms. Morais was born on October 9, 1946 in Damariscotta, ME. She was the daughter of Aimes and Bernice Weaver Morais. Ms. Morais attended local schools, and worked for some time at Carey Shoe Co., Encore Shoe Co., Spencer Press and Mardens in Sanford.Ms. Morais enjoyed going to the Wolves Club, and the Knights of Columbus to listen and dance to the bands that would play there. She enjoyed word find puzzles and watching the television as well.Predeceasing her is a son Roland L. Daney Jr., and a sister Amy Raybine.Survivors include her parents Aimes and Bernice Morais; two daughters, Rhonda Graffam of E. Waterboro, Sheila Daney of Rochester, NH; a son Larry Brierley of Sanford, and good friend of many years Roland L. Daney Sr. of Alfred. Also surviving are two sisters, Lila Butler of Sanford, Bernice Drown of Sanford; two brothers, Sylvio Morais of Alfred, Aimes Morais Jr. of N. Carolina, seven grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.A period of visitation will be held on Friday April 18, 2003 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale, ME, followed by a 12:00 PM funeral service.T
