LIONEL BERGERONSanfordLionel Bergeron, 69, of Sanford, died unexpectedly at home on April15.He was born in Shapleigh on July 18, 1935, a son of Emile and Marie Jeanne (LaChance) Bergeron and attended local schools.He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps.He was employed with Cyro Industries in Sanford for many years.He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the American Legion, and the Amvets all in Sanford, and of the Eagles Aerie in Waterboro.Survivors include 2 daughters, Cindy Bergeron York and her husband Guy of Waterboro, Michele Smith of Sanford, a brother, Donald Bergeron of Arizona, Lorraine Todd of Kentucky, 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.A private memorial service will be held.
