Linda Torno

Linda 'Fluffy Mama Doo ', Torno, 48, of Lebanon, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July 20, 2005 at the Maine Medical Center in Portland. she was born in Sanford on October 10, 1956 a daughter of Marcel and Denise Angers.She attended St. Thomas Catholic School and graduated from Sanford High School in 1974. In June of 1977 she married Bob D. Torno Jr in Sanford. She had previously been employed at Sanford Institute for Savings in Sanford as well as Shop n Save. In recent years she was very active and held various positions in the local family busines's -R.D. Torno and Son's Paving, Torno's World Class Motor Sports and Northern Explosion Cloggers.She traveled extensively, especially going to Las Vegas. She enjoyed watching Nick at Nite and spending time with family and friends outdoors.She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bob D. Torno Jr., of Lebanon, step son, Robert 'Tripper' Torno III of Bloomfield, NY, son, Ryan D. Sundance Torno of Shapleigh, daughter, Heather Elizabeth Torno of Lebanon, son, Josh Cassidy D. Torno of Lebanon, daughter, Jessica Denise 'Poopsie' Torno of Lebanon, 3 grandchildren, Alexandra M. torno, Robert D. Torno, Scott D. Torno, brothers, Michael Angers, Daniel Angers, and Mark Angers, sister, Diane 'Rosie'Angers, mother and father in law, Robert D.'Speedy' Torno Sr and Elizabeth Ann Torno, brother in law, David 'F. Bibby' Torno, many close friends, nieces and nephews.Visiting hours will be held today, July 22 from 2-4 and 6-8pm a the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 11am at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Springvale. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Catholic Cemetery in Springvale.
