Linda L. Bragdon

Scarborough- Linda L. Bragdon, 69, died peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at the Pine Point Nursing Center following a long illness Linda was born on October 12, 1945 in Portland, Maine the daughter of Leroy B. and Dorothy I. Black Levangie. She attended local schools and graduated from Scarborough High School in the class of 1964. Although disability prevented Linda from working much of her life, she was an avid volunteer working with veterans of the Armed Services. She loved playing beano and was a dedicated Elvis Presley fan. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Harold L. Bragdon in 1995 and a brother Paul Levangie. She is survived by a son Leroy P. Crockett of Scarborough; three grandchildren Jordan Brackett, Travis and Madison Crockett. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00pm at Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 1:00pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth Cemetery, Westbrook in the spring. On line condolences may be expressed at www.ctcrawford.com

To Lindas family, I volunteer at Pine Point since 1999 and Linda and I were great friends. She came to all the prayer groups Arthur and I led. Ahe was such a great person and always upbeat. I was shocked to hear she had passed. I will miss her alot. She thought the world of her family, I also remember her Dad well.I am so sorry for your loss and will always remember her.Beth Callahan
