Linda J. Ahl

Linda J. Ahl, 64, of Lebanon, died on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Goodall Hospital in Sanford.Linda was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 16, 1946 to Ernest and Anne (Spedding) Maclean. She grew up in the Boston area where she attended local schools. She was employed at General Electric in Lynn, MA for several years. She moved to Maine in the early 1980's.Linda was a very artistic person and enjoyed painting ceramics, crocheting and knitting. She was a fun loving and outgoing and made friends easily wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to open her door to someone in need. Linda also liked talking to her many friends on her CB radio where she was known by the handle "Ladybug." She enjoyed bowling and in the past, had been a member of a bowling league in Sanford. She will be remembered as a kind and loving woman and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Surviving are a son, Ronald Nolan and his wife Melissa of Saugus, MA and a daughter, Julie Belair of Waterboro, ME; three grandsons, Jacob and Matthew Nolan of Saugus, MA and Kendrick Belair of Waterboro; five siblings, Harold Maclean and his wife Maryellen of Dorchester, MA, Carolann Falasca of Saugus, MA, Richard Maclean and his wife Sharon of Rowley, MA, John J. McEachern and his wife Margaret of Salem, NH and Steven McEachern of Lynn, MA and many nieces and nephews.A period of visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 7th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, ME.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences to to the left.
