Lillian E. Tremblay, 88, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Sanford on October 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Anna (Therrien) Roux. She attended Holy Family and St. Ignatius Schools. A lifelong member of Holy Family Parish she was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She retired from Allied Shoe with 20 years of service with the company.Mrs. Tremblay is predeceased by her husband, Arthur J. Tremblay who passed away in 2007.She is survived by her children, Ronald Tremblay and his wife, Michele of Sanford, Rose Ann Camire and her husband, James of Sanford, one brother, Robert Roux of Acton, sisters, Lucille Therrien of Sanford, Rita Lemieux of Sanford and Dorothy Turmelle of Somersworth, NH, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Christine Caramihalis and her husband, Andrew and their children, Colton and Marina of North Berwick, Mark Camire and his wife, Cheryl and their children, Ryan, Summer and Brooke of Acton, Brian Camire and his wife, Tiffany and their children, Evan and Katherine of Acton, Karen Allen and her husband Robert and their children Joshua and Julia of Sanford, Aaron Tremblay and his wife, Nichole and their children Jordan, Brendon and Kayla of Sanford, and Jason Tremblay and his wife, Corinna and their children, Zachery, Isabella and Olivia of Sanford and two sisters in law, Theresa Crowley of Dover, NH and Helen Roux of Sanford.Visiting hours for Mrs. Tremblay will be on Friday at 9AM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
