Lillian E. Goulet

Lillian E. Goulet, 89, of Sanford, passed away on Friday December 30, 2011 at the Varney Crossing Nursing Home in North Berwick. She was born in Springvale on June 7, 1922, a daughter of the late Leonidas and Bertha (Doiron) Letourneau.On October 19, 1940 she married Wilfred Goulet at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. For 22 years she was employed at the former Jagger Mills and then worked for Sprague Electric for 17 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary in Sanford.She is predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Wilfred Goulet who passed away in 2007, one son, Thomas Goulet who passed away in 2005.She is survived by one daughter, Elaine Bickford of Sanford, sisters, Cecilia Garland of Sanford, Rosilda Demers of Sanford, Florida Fougere of Sanford, one brother, Joseph Letourneau of Sanford, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 11th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
