Gagnon, 64, of South Waterboro, Maine, died October 8, 2001 at The Goodall Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.She was born in Sanford, Maine on April 15, 1937, the daughter of Frank and Cecilia Letourneau Mauzerolle and was a graduate of Sanford High School where she was a Majorette. Mrs. Gagnon moved from Sanford to South Waterboro in 1955.She was a loving wife and devoted mother who always supported her children in school and sports activities.Mrs. Gagnon enjoyed going to yard sales, flea markets, cooking and sewing.She is survived by her husband of 46 years Richard J. Gagnon of South Waterboro; her mother Cecilia Garland of Sanford; a daughter Mrs. William (Brenda) Ridley of Rome, Maine; sons Stephen Gagnon of Saco, Maine, Brian Gagnon of South Waterboro, Maine and Major Craig Gagnon N.S.A.F. of Seoul Korea; grandchildren Benjamin Ridley of Rome, Maine, Bethany Ridley of Rome, Maine, Brett Gagnon of Saco, Maine, Katie Gagnon of Saco, Maine Tyler Gagnon of South Waterboro, Maine and Tiffany Gagnon of South Waterboro, Maine; sisters Rebecca Howes of Springvale, Maine, Patricia Stone of Sanford, Maine and Francis Banks of Wells, Maine; brothers, Leo Mauzerolle of Springvale, Maine and Mark Garland of Springvale, Maine.Relatives and friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Friday at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street, Springvale, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM in Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 66 North Ave. Sanford, Maine.
