SpringvaleLillian D. Allen, 78, of Springvale died Saturday afternoon October 13, 2001 at her home.Mrs. Allen was born on February 26, 1923 in Sanford, ME. She was the daughter of Edward and Lena Pereault Crowley. She attended Sanford Schools and worked for many years at the Sanford Goodall Mills and the Jagger Bros. Mills.In her spare time Mrs. Allen enjoyed reading, knitting and quiet evenings at home. She will be sadly missed by all.A daughter Deannie Worcester predeceased her in 1998.Surviving is her husband of 54 years, Robert D. Allen of Springvale, two daughters, Michelle Allen of Limerick, and Candy Hurst of Lehigh Acres, FL. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and two sisters.
