Foglio, 79, of Waterboro, died Monday March 3, 2003 at The Mercy Hospital in Portland.She was born in Waterboro on April 26, 1923 the daughter of Frank and Arlene (Lord) Benton and attended Waterboro High School.Mrs. Foglio was a founding member of The Waterboro Fire Department Auxiliary and a member of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Limerick. She was known for always being there to help people out in the community.She is survived by her sons Douglas of Waterboro and Stephen and his wife Jacqueline of Limerick, sisters Barbara Berube of Saco, Stella Graham of Waterboro and Frieda Emmons of Lyman; brothers Fred Flood of CT., and Delwin Flood of Hollis; also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her husband Venduro (Van) Foglio who died in 1994, also by her brother Roland Benton.Relatives and friends may can from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Thursday at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church 19 Dora Lane, Limerick.
