Kiefer A. Smalley, 28, of Sanford, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Kiefer was born in Beverly, Massachusetts on August 24, 1992. He lived in Saugus, Massachusetts until the age of 15 when he moved to Sanford, Maine. Kiefer was a hard worker and was a passionate auto mechanic for many years. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Words cannot express how much he will be missed.
Kiefer will be remembered for his great sense of humor and big heart. He loved canoeing on the lake in the summer and jumping off the rope swing. He also loved woodworking and building things, going to Old Orchard Beach, swimming and most of all, he loved spending time with his angel Emma.
Kiefer is survived by his beautiful daughters Emma and Emeliah; his father, Thomas Smalley and Sanford; his mother and step-dad, Gail and Kevin Pelley of Reading, Massachusetts; his brother Tucker Smalley and his wife Bobbi of Casco, Maine; his brother Kyle of Reading, Massachusetts; his sister, Nadine of South Carolina, many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and seven very special step-siblings.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Saturday, March 6th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
So sorry for your heavy hearts at this most difficult time,my deepest condolences to you all. Kiefer was always laughing about something when ever we spoke,I will miss his smile and laughter, thank you Kiefer for taking the time to talk to me.
