Kevin Paul Brunelle, 57, of Rochester, NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on May 13, 2026, due to complications from lymphoma. He was born on July 21, 1968, at H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford, Maine to Richard C. Brunelle and Dolores (Houle) Brunelle Everett.
Kevin was a ball of energy who never met a stranger and was often the life of the party! His spirit was loud in the best way — full of music, kindness, and connection. He will be remembered for his big heart, his quick wit, and the way he made people feel like family.
He was a long-time employee of the Sanford House of Pizza, where he genuinely enjoyed his customers. Regulars knew him by name and looked forward to seeing him. He turned routine pizza runs into bright spots in people’s days, remembering names, jokes, and favorite orders.
Kevin found joy in the simple things: playing the guitar, the thrill of a good thrift shop find and time spent with family. His love extended to his treasured cat, Sharlie, who brought him companionship and great joy. He was a long-time member of the Sanford Wolves Club. His presence, laughter and friendship will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Netrista Brunelle, and stepson, Driss Brunelle, both of Rochester, NH; his father, Richard C. Brunelle of Sanford; his sister, Diane Mulligan and husband Matt of Liberty and brother, Gary Brunelle of Sanford. He also leaves behind three nieces, Felicia Black of Winthrop, Bridget Martin of Sanford, and Kelly Mulligan of Brunswick.
He was predeceased by his mother, Dolores J. Everett, and his brother, Michael R. Brunelle.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation in Kevin’s memory to the Animal Welfare Society at https://animalwelfaresociety.org/give.
A time of visitation will be held at Black-Heald & Walker Funeral Home, 580 Main St., Springvale on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11:30 a.m. Burial to follow immediately after at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.
