WaterboroKenneth David Webster, 15, of Waterboro, Maine, died Monday September 17, 2001 at The Boston Children's Hospital after a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis.He was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., the son of Dale Webster and Denise Pelton.Kenny was a student at Massabesic High School in South Waterboro.He was a member of The Curtis Lake Christian Church, Sanford Maine. The church was the most important aspect of his life along with his value and faith in God. Kenny was an important and active member of the church youth group.Kenny was a member of The ROTC program at Massebesic High School in South Waterboro. He enjoyed working with his laptop computer. He had many online friends that he would communicate with though the ICQ program.He loved the outdoors, especially riding his golf cart through the woods at his home in Waterboro. His dog "Abbie Rose" was especially close to his heart. Kenny was always smiling no matter what condition his health was in, having a way of making everyone laugh.Kenny and his sisters Kassandra and Makayla had a very special bond between them. When Kenny was in the Barbara Bush Wing of The Maine Medical Center in Portland, he had a unique way of encouraging others there.He loved to go fishing with his father, uncle and grandfather.Kenny is survived by his mother Denise and her husband Mark Rogers of Waterboro, ME; his father Dale Webster of Florida; his sisters Kassandra and Makayla Rogers both of Waterboro; his paternal grandmother Jean Caldwell of Sanford, maternal grandparents Richard and Charlotte Meggison of Waterboro, Paternal grandparents David and Monique Webster, Maternal grandparents Joyce and Carl Walz, paternal great grandfather Kenneth Penny; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.Relatives and friends may gather on Friday evening for 6:00 - 8:00 PM at The Curtis Lake Christian Church, 38 Westview Dr., in Sanford, where a funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
