Katheleen Bubar

Katheleen F. (Harding) Bubar, 83, of Shapleigh died at her home on Friday, July 15, 2005. Mrs. Buber was born on July 15, 1922 In St. Albans to Frank and Ruby (Farmer) Harding. She graduated from Hartland Academy in Hartland, Maine; in 1941, she married her husband, Allinson Bubar.Katheleen was a very loving and generous mother and grandmother. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She also got a lot of enjoyment out of cooking, especially for holiday meals and for family members. Katheleen was very fond of her cocker spaniel, Sebastian, who was a very special companion to herSurviving are her three children, Irene Norton, of Sanford; Allen Bubar, of Mayer, Arizona; and Maxine Crouch of Shapleigh; two brothers, Floyd Harding of Stetson, ME and Harold Harding of Winter Haven, FL; a sister, Althea Knowles of Pittsfield; ten grandchildren, Cheryl Laplante, Lester Cooley, Scott Cooley, Patrick Cooley, David Bubar, John Bubar, Karen Dillon, Allen Bubar, Jr., Kelly Nadeau and Stephen Poole; 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A funeral Service will be held at the Acton Congregational Church in Acton on Monday July 18, 2005 at 11:00 A.M.
