Karen J. Nutter

Karen J. Nutter, 48, of Sanford, passed away at the Maine Medical Center in Portland on Saturday September 17, 2005 after a brief illness. She was born in Sanford on August 23, 1957, a daughter of Ernest A. and Bernice M. (Noble) Nutter. She graduated from Sanford High School. For 20 years she had been employed at Shape in Kennebunk. She was most recently employed by Waban Projects as a Care Giver.Karen enjoyed movies, plays, painting, reading, traveling and most of all spending time with her family.Karen is predeceased by her father, Ernest A. Nutter.She is survived by her mother, Bernice M. Nutter of Sanford, two sisters, Judy Ward of Yakima, Washington, Sandra Bisson and her husband, Marc of Sanford, several nieces and nephews, three great nieces and five great nephews. A celebration of her life will take place on Wednesday September 21 at 1pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home 580 Main Street in Springvale.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to Waban Projects 5 Dunaway Drive Sanford, Maine 04073.
