JUNG-HWA LEESanfordJung-Hwa Lee, 75, of Sanford, died March 17 at the Newton Center in Sanford after a long illness.She was born in Seoul, South Korea. She lived in Korea most of her life where she worked as a professional knitter. Fluent in Japanese, she taught that language as well as taught knitting.She came to Sanford in 1986 and worked for 9 years at the former Sprague Electric Co.She was a very devout Christian, regularly reading the bible and devoting her life to God.Survivors include 2 daughters, Rhyoung Cho of Sanford, Young-In Park of Korea, 6 grandchildren, and many relatives in Korea.A funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Monday in the North Parish Congregational Church with the Rev. Carleton Gunn and the Rev. Sang-Shin Han officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.
