Josephine Jeffries

Josephine Jeffries, 98, of Springvale, Maine passed away on Sunday March 17, 2013. She was born on October 17, 1914 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The daughter of the late Harry and Martha Gaston.She is predeceased by her husband of 68 years, John M. Jeffries, brothers, Harry Gaston, Robert Gaston, sister, Helen Peterson.She is survived by her daughter Barbara and husband Frank,grandchild Jonathan and his wife Rachel, and great grandchild Jack Timothy. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.Jo passed away at Huntington Common with her daughter at her side. Jo enjoyed many years of retirement with her beloved husband Jack. Her life scanned many changesThe family wishes for no flowers or donations but in Jo's honor to do a random act of kindness for an elder neighbor or ill family member. Jo received many acts of kindness to help her on a difficult journey.
