Yohman, 80, of Alfred, Maine, died August 12, 2001 at his residence in Alfred.He was born in Masury, Ohio on January 31, 1921 the son of John and Mary Klein Yohman.Mr. Yohman was a retired officer in The United States Army during WWII.He worked for General Electric for 40 years in Lynn, Ma., Cleveland, OH, and Cincinnati, OH., retiring in 1981 as an engineer. He moved to Maine in 1982 after his retirement.Mr. Yohman was a member of The Retired Officers Association of the Army.He enjoyed gardening and was also very interested in camera's and video. Mr. Yohman also enjoyed reading. Besides his wife of 59 years Barbara Pratt Yohman of Alfred, he is survived by sons, J. Robert Yohman, Dickinson, TX., Donald Yohman, Cincinnati, OH., Douglas Yohman, East Waterboro, ME., Jeffrey Yohman, Alfred, ME; a daughter Judith Oetzel, Cincinnati, OH, and is also survived by 6 grandchildren.Funeral services will be held privately.
