Joseph V. Mileo

Joseph V. Mileo, 81, of Springvale, passed away on Monday March 4, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Washington, DC on January 26, 1932. In 1952 he enlisted in the Air Force and made a career until his retirement from Pease Air Force Base in 1972. In 1956 he met his future wife, Yasuo Matsubashi in Japan and they were married in 1956.He is predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Teresa (Finoacchairo) Mileo, one sister, Nina Nicotra.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Yasuo Mileo of Springvale, son, Joseph Anthony Mileo of Troy, PA, brother, Anthony Mileo of Valdosta, GA,Arrangements are under direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
