Johnathan Lee Freeman Sr; 53 passed away unexpectedly on Monday February 7, 2022 at 7:43pm at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford, Maine. Born June 27, 1968 to Gene E. Freeman and Linda D. Freeman (Daniello), in Rockland, Maine. He was the first child of both parents. John grew up in Rockland, Maine and attended the local schools there growing up. He spent much of his childhood clamming and being on the ocean with his beloved Father. Later in life John found the love of his life, Annie Freeman, and they married on August 21, 2010, after being together for almost a decade. John had a deep love for his family and friends, which he made everywhere he went. He loved any type of music, and loved to sing his heart out on the karaoke machine. He also loved to be on the water, rather it was fishing, boating, or working he had a strong connection to the ocean. He enjoyed sports and was an avid New England sports fan. He had the biggest heart and would help anyone if he could. But his biggest joy and greatest accomplishment in life was his kids and grandkids who he enjoyed spending time with. He will always be remember led for his infectious smile, his ability to make anyone laugh, his smart mouth and his big heart.John was predeceased by his father Gene Freeman of Rockland and leaves behind his mother Linda Pianka (Daniello); of Sanford, Me, his brother Victor Sevilla; of Sanford, Me, his sister Tammy Sewall; Waterville, Me, his wife and soul mate Annie Freeman; of Sanford, Me, his daughter Stephanie Frank (Freeman) and her husband Bruce Frank Jr; of Rockland, Me, his son Michael "Mickey" Stults and his partner Tricia Ashline; of Sanford, Me, his son James Freeman; of Sanford, Me, his daughter Kate-Lynn Freeman and her partner Mitchell Pryor; of Sanford, Me and his son Johnathan "JJ" Freeman Jr; of Sanford, Me; his beloved grandchildren; Angel, Noah, Kyra, Kara, Sarah, Bella, Alexander, and Lawson as well as many friends that were like family to him.There will be a celebration of life in Sanford, Me at a later date. He will be buried in Acorn Cemetery in Rockland, Me in the spring.
