John L. Touchette

John L. Touchette, 88 years old, of Sanford, ME died Saturday, August 13, 2005 in Sanford, ME.Mr. Touchette was born on December 18, 1916 in Rumford, ME. He was the son of Joseph and Marie Levesque Touchette.For many years Mr. Touchette worked at Cyro Industries as a shipping and receiving coordinator. He was a communicant of St. Ignatius Church, where he served as an usher for many years.Predeceasing Mr. Touchette are eight brothers, and two sisters.Surviving is his wife of over 40 years Gladys Gorman Touchette of Sanford, a stepson Robert Wright of Dover, NH, a step grandson Robert Wright of Sanford, ME, and several nieces.A period of visitation for Mr. Touchette will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2005 from 6 to 8 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. Sanford, ME. An 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday the 17th at St. Ignatius Church in Sanford.
