John A. Epeneter

John Andrew Epeneter, of Maynard, MA, born September 22, in the great hurricane of 1938, passed away July 5, 2012 in Sanford, ME. He is survived by his wife, Loretta, his daughter, Natalie Clancy, and his son, John Alvin. He also leaves behind his six grandchildren, each of which he was very proud.Visiting hours will be Monday from 7 to 9PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale, ME. A second viewing will take place on Tuesday from 9:30AM until 10:45AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Westview Drive (first building on the right), Sanford, ME. The funeral will be at the same location at 11AM. Burial with military honors will follow at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.He was the bravest man we ever knew. It is hard to imagine anyone fighting this wicked disease harder than he did. Today he is free from pain. We know how much he loved us and we love you dad.
