Jean M. Spinney

Jean M. Spinney, 72 years old, formerly of Calais, ME, and most currently of Sanford died Thursday morning June 17, 2004 at the Greenwood Center in Sanford.Ms. Spinney was born on May 17, 1932 in Calais, ME. She was the daughter of Fred and Tressa Marshall Spinney. She attended Calais schools and for many years worked at the Knitters Warehouse as a seamstress.Spending time with her family was very important to Ms. Spinney. She enjoyed attending church, and singing in the choir. Ms. Spinney also liked to draw and visiting with others.Predeceasing Ms. Spinney are four brothers, Roland, Lean, Harold, John, and three sisters, Florence, Irene, and Thelma.Surviving are two nieces, Ada Spinney of Biddeford, Pauline Doiron of Sanford; four nephews, Harold Spinney of Sanford, Michael Spinney of MA, James and John Spinney both of Acton.A period of visitation will be held on Monday June 21, 2004 from 2 PM to 3PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
