Currier, 65, of Sanford, died Tuesday May 14, 2002 at The Goodall Hospital in Sanford.She was born in Springvale, Maine on September 14, 1936, the daughter of Archie and Kathleen Griffin Miles, and attended local schools and Sanford High School.She loved, reading (especially books about famous people), crossword puzzles, bingo, dancing and music. Janice loved going to the beach.She is survived by her husband of 26 Years. Leon P. Currier, 2 sons, Timothy S. Miles of York, Maine, Guy D. Vir of Sanford; a daughter Tammy Vir of Portland, Maine; a sister Wanda Tarr of Dover, NH; a brother Barry Miles of Oregon; 1 Grandson, Christopher Vir; three aunts Ethel Miles of Springvale, Beatrice Griffin of Sanford and Phyllis Phaup of Sanford. She was also survived by numerous cousins and nephews.Funeral services were be held at 1:00 PM on Friday May 17, 2002 at Heald Funeral 580 Main Street, Springvale.
