James A. Lafimana

James A. Lafimana, 86 years old, of Alfred, ME died Friday, December 19, 2003 at his home.Mr. Lafimana was born on August 1, 1917 in Providence, RI. He was the son of Antonie and Henrietta Comager Lafimana. He attended Rhode Island schools, and proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1943 to 1946. Over the years Mr. Lafimana worked several different jobs, and retired from the New York City Transit Authority.Mr. Lafimana was a pilot, and enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed playing golf, and spending time with his wife Josephine.Surviving is his wife Josephine (Sancewicz) Lafimana of Alfred, ME, and a stepson Gary Derome of Florida.Services for Mr. Lafimana will be held in the spring of 2004.
