Jacqueline M. Johnson passed away the morning of March 28, 2022, at the Gosnell Hospice House of Scarborough, surrounded by her daughters and granddaughters at the age of 73. She was born in St. David, Maine, October 23, 1948, the daughter of the late Vincent & Irene (Hebert) Cyr. She was employed at Cary Medical Center as a Medical Transcriptionist in the Rehab Department for many years, and up to her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with family, making puzzles, chocolate chip cookies, gardening, making ployes, and taking trips to Bar Harbor, as well as visiting her family up north. It was her strong Catholic faith, devotion to God and love for her daughters and granddaughters that gave her the strength and grace to continue to persevere throughout her 16-year battle with cancer. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Johnson of Scarborough, Melissa Johnson & her fiance Todd Hews of Topsham, and Tara Reece of Scarborough, and granddaughters Madison and Caitlyn Reece of Scarborough. She is also survived by her siblings, Fernand Cyr of Madawaska; Fernande Bush of Augusta; Jeanne Pratt of Madawaska and Martha Dufour and her husband, Francis of Madawaska, and brother-in-law Jean-Paul Cyr of St. Agatha, sister-in-law Helen Cyr of GA and several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jacqueline was predeceased by her parents, Vincent & Irene Cyr, her sister Verna Lausier (Maurice), sister Jeannine Cyr, brother Jean-Paul Cyr, brother-in-law Ernest Pratt, brother-in-law Steve Bush, and sister-in-law Mildred Cyr.
