Irene C. Lambert 1939-2024 SPRINGVALE—Irene C. Lambert, 85, of Springvale, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Sunday October 20, 2024, at her home. She was born in Bloomfield, Vermont on June 25, 1939, the daughter of Albert and Blanche Sigouin. She grew up in the Sanford on Walnut Hill and was a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. She worked at a dress shop and as a phone operator before settling into a job with the District Court where she remained for over thirty years. When she wasn’t working, Irene enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing and playing bridge. She was a regular at the Trafton Senior Center where she enjoyed many activities including line dancing. She was an excellent mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Lambert in 2007. She is survived by her children, Catherine Lambert of Springvale and Patrick Lambert and his wife Lisa of Springvale; her grandchildren, Keith and Kelli Lizotte; her great-grandchildren, Lily Levesque and Keith Lizotte as well as several brothers and sisters. Visiting hours will be Thursday October 24 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Carll-Heald and Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Burial will be private.
