Palmer, 95, of Sanford, Maine, died Saturday April 20, 2001 at The Mountainview Nursing Home, Sanford.She was born in Wells, Maine on August 15, 1906, she was the daughter of Albert and Eva May Littlefield Steere, and attended schools in Wells.She employed by Allied Shoe in Springvale for 30 years before she retired.She was predeceased by her husband Edwin F. Palmer who died in 1996.She is survived by her sister Edith Bedell of Colchester, CT; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery, Alfred, Maine.
