Homer R. Cilley

Homer R. Cilley, 93, a sixty year resident of Marblehead, MA, passed away on Friday July 7, 2006 at Seal Rock Healthcare in Saco, Maine. He was born in Dover, NH, a son of Horace L. and Alice (Dorr) Cilley.Mr. Cilley graduated from the Moses Brown School, Providence, RI, in 1931 and from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, ME, in 1935. He served during WWII as an officer in the United States Navy. Following his retirement from the casualty insurance business in 1975, he served on the Historic District Commission and Board of Assessors in Marblehead, MA.He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn D. (Somers) in 1983 and a son, Homer R. Cilley Jr., in 2005.He is survived by one son, Charles S.
