Helen M. Vigue

Helen M. Vigue, 74 years old, of Sanford, ME died Sunday morning, March 12, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her loving family and husband of 59 years Eugene R. Vigue. Her short and courageous battle with a terminal illness will serve as an inspiration to all that knew her.Helen was born on May 25, 1931 in Sanford, ME. She was the daughter of Amedee and Annie (Buchanan) Allaire. She attended local schools, and for many years worked at Vishay-Sprague in Sanford.Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her strength, courage, and determination through adversities were astonishing. Her unconditional love will forever be remembered and cherished, and she will be missed more than anyone would know.Helen leaves behind her husband Eugene R. Vigue, of Sanford, ME; three daughters, Carolyn Sanford and her husband Douglas, Jacqueline Roberts and her husband Warren, Patricia Jackson and her husband Donald; six grandchildren, Kris (Chad) Johnson, Tricia (Rob) Sanford, Tina (Sean) Martel, Shannon (Anthony) Martineau, Donald Jackson, Bill (Jessica) Martineau; five great grandchildren, Bryanna, Katie, Douglas, Logan, and Gionet.At Helen's request there will be no prior visitation. On Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at 11:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius R.C.
