Guy Dube

Guy Dube, 68, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday September 4, 2005 at the Newton Center. He was born in St. Benoit, P.Q., Canada on July 2, 1937 a son of Patrick and Edna (Morin) Dube.In 1958 he came to the United States. He was a member of the Springvale Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th degree.For many years he worked as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed doing odd jobs and helping out friends and family. He lived in Florida for 10 years. The greatest joy in his life was spending time with his family and playing with the grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife, Barbara (Leighton) Dube and a sister, Monique PatoineHe is survived by his former wife and mother of his loving children, Martha (Chasse) Dube of Sanford two daughters and their husbands, Denise and John Neal of Sanford, Rita Jeanne and Edgar Sevigny of Sanford, four sons and their wives, Roger and Kelley Dube of Bridgton, Darin and Bonnie Dube of Sanford, Brian and Sheila Dube of Sanford, Dennis and Darcy Dube of Telford, PA, four brothers, Norm Dube of Biddeford, Lucien Dube of Saco, Dennis Dube of Biddeford, Fabien Dube of Biddeford, six sisters, Patricia Perron of Arundel, Lucie Bertrand of Biddeford, Lise Bertrand of Davenport, FL, Denise Paquette of Biddeford, Fabienne Fortier of Biddeford and Celine Ball of Biddeford and 15 grandchildren.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday September 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale.
