Gregory R. Jimmo

Greg R. Jimmo, 28, of Acton, ME died January 1, 2003.Mr. Jimmo was born on March 7, 1974 in Meriden, CT. He was the son of Ray and Ranada Alward Jimmo Bowker. He attended local schools and worked for the Ameritech Corporation as a truck driver.Mr. Jimmo enjoyed working on various trucks and cars. He had a passion for four-wheel drive vehicles, and enjoyed going to the mud bog races. When he wasn't working you could find him in the garage under the hood of a vehicle, or it's chassis. To him off road racing was where it's at. He also enjoyed a good BBQ, and always was willing to take time out to help others in their endeavors.Predeceasing him is his father Ray P. Jimmo.Surviving is his mother and step-father Ranada and Bill Bowker of Springvale, his wife Wendy and their daughters Savannah, Brittin, and Darrien of Acton, two brothers, Keith of N. Dakota, and Doug of Florida, a step-brother Michael Bowker of Sanford, step-sister Christine Fortier of Sanford, his mother and father in-law Paul and Barbara LaRose of Sanford, grandparents Josie Jimmo of TX, Madelene Landry of Ashland, ME, 3 nephews, 1 niece and several cousins.A period of visitation will be held on Sunday January 5, 2003 from 4 to 8 PM at the Heald Funeral Home, Springvale. A 10:00 AM funeral service will be held on Monday the 6th at St. George Episcopal Church in Sanford.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jimmo daughters memorial fund c/o Heald Funeral Home, P.O.
