Gladys S. Gooding

Springvale, MaineGladys S. Gooding, 91, of Deering Neighborhood, died Sunday June 2, 2002 at The Goodall Hospital Sanford, Maine after a brief illness.She was born in Farmington, Maine on June 20, 1910, she was the daughter of Charles and Louise (Bickford) Shaw.She was married to the late William Gooding.Mrs. Gooding was a homemaker whose love was for cats and flowers. She worked in local shoe shops in both Maine and New Hampshire.She is survived by her son Kenneth Shaw, Sr., of Parsonsfield; three grandchildren Kenny Shaw, Jr. of Buxton, Amy Shaw of Waterville and Gary Shaw of Springvale. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM in Riverside Cemetery, Springvale.
