Gisele Charland

Gisele Charland, 84, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2012 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born in Sanford on June 30, 1927, a daughter of the late Wilfrid and Mathilda (Hamelin) Charland.Her Waban family expressed these sentiments about Gisele. When asked how old she was Gisele would always say she was 59 years old. Her favorite color was yellow. Her favorite song was "I'm in the Mood for Love". Her achievement in life was not to let people know just how smart she really was. That she could read, write and speak both English and French. She loved to play cribbage and the organ. She loved her fromage (cheese), tomatoes, summertime and her birthdays. This beautiful lady will be greatly missed and loved by her Waban family. Cookie, Caply, Clar, Richard & Secona. These were the names Gisele called her Waban family. She is predeceased by one brother, Roger and one sister, Germaine.A funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 11AM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
