George W. Neville, Jr., 93, of Sanford, died peacefully on March 8 at home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.He was born in Woburn, MA on March 16, 1918, the son of George W. and Louie (Blaisdell) Neville, Sr., attended Woburn schools and was a graduate of Woburn High School.He was employed for many years as a tool and die maker for Moore Business Forms in Dover, NH, retiring many years ago.George pursued many interests throughout his life. He enjoyed travelling, hunting, fishing, flea markets and antiquing. He loved sports, especially the Red Sox and the Patriots. But his most favorite pastime was the gathering of family and friends.He was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Eleanor (Anderson) Neville in 1995, and by two grandsons, Jeffrey Thibeau and Philip Thibeau.Survivors include his companion of the past several years, Mary Beaurivage of Sanford, daughters Barbara Witham and her husband Frank of York, Luanne Delage and her husband Peter of Waterboro, Audrey Fulling and her husband Thomas of Oakland, Cynthia Thibeau and her husband David of Mobile, AL, sons George W. Neville, III of Sanford, David Neville and his wife Wanda of W. Newfield, 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 14 at 11:00 AM at the Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn, MA.
