Geneva R. Hall

Geneva R. Hall, 96, of Sanford, passed away on August 12, 2011, at the Greenwood Center Nursing Home in Sanford. She was born in North Berwick on November 21, 1914, a daughter of the late Ernest and Emma (Nelson) Roberts. She retired from the Sanford Post Office in 1977 after 28 years of service. For many years she was active with the Bauneg Beg Grange.She is predeceased by her husband, Norman S. Hall, two daughters, Jean Clarke and Sandra Johnson.She is survived by two daughters, Norma Wakely of Medfield, MA, and Gayle Tirrell of Leesburg, FL, one brother, Harland Roberts of North Berwick, six grandchildren and many great grandchildren.A funeral service for Mrs. Hall will take place on Tuesday at 11AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. An hour of visitation will begin at 10AM until the time of the funeral service.
