Her strong faith sustained her throughout the years. She remained a lifelong communicant the Sanford Catholic community having been involved with Cursillo, the prayer group and bible study. Her family was the joy of her life. Very devoted and dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Coming from a musically inclined family she paid for her grandchildren's music lessons.Throughout the years she had been employed at the Colony Inn in Kennebunkport, Sprague Electric and the local Shoe Shops.She is predeceased by her husband, Martin V. Nadeau who passed away in 1985, one son, David V. Nadeau who passed away in 1984, one brother, Henry Legere.She is survived by her children, Donald M. Nadeau, Dennis P. Nadeau, Cathy A. Chaisty and Ann M. Nadeau all of Sanford, two sisters, Gertrude Quirion of S.C., and Madeleine Boucher of Biddeford, one brother, Joseph "Larry" Legere of York, one sister in law, Daurice Lemay of Springvale, five grandchildren, David, Kaylee, Nicholas, Meagan, Lynzie, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visiting hours will be on Tuesday May 29th from 4 to 7pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11am at St. Therse of Lisieux -Holy Family Church in Sanford.
