Frieda Pomerleau

Freida Pomerleau, 66, of New Kent, Va., died March 3 in Atlantic City, N.J.She was born Sept. 29, 1936 in Hodgenville, Ky., a daughter of Mildred and Tilford Ashlock.She was active in Sanford government for 18 years, serving on the Warrant Committee and Citizens for Responsible Government. She had recently moved to Virginia to live with her son.Survivors include a son, Michael of New Kent; four sisters, Melba Boyd, Lynda Lynch and Bonnie Zimmerer, all of Louisville, Ky., and Shirley Hodges of Greenville, Miss.; one brother, Bud Ashlock of Louisville; and several nieces and nephews
