Frederick W. Marston

Frederick W. Marston, 82, of Somersworth, NH., died January 20, 2002 at his residence. He was born on August 21, 1919 in Newfield, ME., he was the son of William and Nellie Knight Marston, and was a graduate of Windham High School.Mr. Marston served in the United States Air Force during WWII as a blind flight instructor in Marianna, FL.He worked seven years for the former Saco Lowell Manufacturing Co. as a time keeper/auditor. Mr. Marston moved to Waterboro, ME., in 1951 and worked as a maintenance supervisor for The Former Davidson Rubber Co. in Dover, NH, retiring in 1984.He was a past member of The Limerick Masonic Lodge. He was currently a member of The Strafford Masonic Lodge #29 AF & AF of Dover, NH. Mr. Marston enjoyed playing the organ which he played for many lodge functions. He also enjoyed woodworking.He is survived by his sons Lincoln P. Marston of Acton, ME., Walter N. Marston of Ervin, TN. and Wayne M. Marston of Rochester, NH; his sisters Eleanor Pidluska of Lyman, ME. and Mary Ridley of Springvale, ME; he is also survived by 8 grandchildren.Relatives and friends may call from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Heald Funeral Home 580 Main Street Springvale, ME., where a Masonic service will be held at 6:15 PM on Wednesday. A funeral will be held at 11: 00 AM on Thursday at the funeral home.
