Frances G. Spinney

Frances G. Spinney, of Sanford, died at home on August 25, 2003.She was born in Boston, Mass November 22, 1915 the daughter of Emilio and Filomena Giorgio. She grew up in the Roslindale area of Boston and attended BostonPublic Schools. Frances resided and raised her family in Colonie, New York for 20 years. She later returned to Boston to care for mother. Frances retired from Sears Roebuck in 1981 and moved with her husband to Acton, Maine. Most recently they have resided in Sanford. Mrs. Spinney loved to sew, cook and spend time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 22 years Clayton Spinney of Sanford; her son: Albert J. Frigugliett and daughter, Anita Hoffman. Also, by her stepchildren, Richard R. Spinney, Clayton S. Spinney, II, Brenda L. Richards and Linda L. Campbell. A sister, Theresa Sinopoli as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great - grandchildren and nieces, nephews and close friends. She was predeceased by two brothers: Rocco and Salvatore Giorgio and Two sisters: Antionette Frigulietti and Violet Franzosa. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 29th. At 11:00 AM at her home at 50 Breton Ave, Sanford. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Service of So.
