Frances Bergeron

Frances Bergeron, 75, of Sanford, died peacefully in her home on Saturday, February 11, 2017.Frances was born in Alberta, Canada on July 29, 1941 to Thomas and Madeline (Doiron) Walker. She moved the United States at the age of 14 and had lived in Sanford for the past 40 years.Frances held several jobs during her working life including working in the local textile mills and shoe shops. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and maintaining her home. She was a kind and loving mother who devoted her life to caring for and raising her family and will be dearly missed.Frances was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Bergeron.Surviving are five children, Michael Frechette and his wife Mikaho of Japan, Paul Frechette and his wife Sandi of East Rochester, Anita (Frechette) Farrell and her husband Donald of Augusta; Donna Bergeron and her life partner Mike Cormier and Jason Bergeron of Sanford and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 19th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale.
